Perfect for snuggling up with a good book.
For me, the best place to read is in bed. Not that other places are necessarily bad places to read, but nothing tops snuggling in between the sheets and propping the pillow up a bit to devour some words.
The absolute best way to do this is, however, with a specific book and specific sheets. The sheets must be the Continental Collection 600 Thread Count 100% Egyptian Cotton Sheets, the ultimate in comfort, and the book should be the national bestseller The Tree that Was Blue.
In The Tree that Was Blue, the protagonist of the story is, as you might have guessed, a tree that is blue. Being blue is not something that the tree desired, leading to sadness and, at times, ridicule in the presence of its peers.
On numerous occasions the tree would paint itself brown in an attempt to fit in, but the wind would always blow it off and revert it back to its original, abnormal color. The tree came up with other wild schemes, but as expected, none of them worked.
The story takes an interesting turn when one day the tree spots a cloud that was brown. The cloud seemingly had the same troubles as the tree and the two complimented each other well. After some chit-chat, the wind blows again and they both become their normal colors. I’m not really sure how that happened.
Those sheets are great though.
