It was the bundle of a lifetime.
There were two curtains in front of me. A dazzlingly handsome man with a long microphone informed me that behind one of the curtains was the iPhone/iPod Power Bundle. Not only did it come with a car charger and wall charger, but he also let me know it was packaged with two charge & sync cables.
“Two charge & sync cables?” I asked. He smiled and nodded.
Behind the other curtain, however, was what the man called the “boat bundle”. That bundle included a sailboat, a motor boat, a rowboat and a butter boat.
“Ooh, I love butter boats,” I commented, prompting a cheer from the crowd.
The trick was that I didn’t know which one I would be picking. One was behind one curtain and one was behind another curtain. I had to pick one at random and there was no switching choices.
I examined the curtains closely. One of them had what looked like a giant mast sticking out, but that could have just been from the charge & sync cable … there were two of them after all. After careful deliberation, and many hurrying remarks from the handsome man, I picked a curtain. It lifted up to reveal the boat bundle.
“Aww … now I’ll never get those charge & sync cables!”
