A Reunion to Remember
It finally arrived. The day that Rian had been dreading for months. That day would be his 10 year high school reunion. He tried everything he could get to get out of it but nothing worked. His best friend Cassie threatened to release some embarrassing photos of him if he didn't help her organize and attend the event.
Rian hated high school. He hated the people, the food, the smell, asbestos walls. He hated everything about it but Cassie. She got him through his days at Roger Murtaugh High School. She calmed him down whenever someone did something stupid to piss him off which happened about 27 times a day. As he prepared for this aneurism causing event he sat and thought about the person who got under his skin the most; Jackson B. Smith also known as JB Smooth. JB was a skinny, loud mouth, brainless, talentless social climber who spent his days calling Rian "Rye-Rye". He never explained why he and just did it much to. It drove Rian nuts.
Rian arrived at the reunion in time to help Cassie decorate and bark orders to him. Apparently he's on registration duty. As his classmates file in they all great him with a smile and the standard "what have you been up to?". He nods then replies "this and that you know". It's about 2 hours in and surprisingly no one has annoyed Rian. Just as he's about the thank whatever deity he believes in for this he hears " Rye-Rye! Is that you, Rye-Rye?! What's up Rye-Rye? What have you been doing with yourself, Rye-Rye? Are you married? Got kids Rye-Rye? Can't believe you made it Rye-Rye. I really can't believe you're here Rye-Rye. Gosh! Rye-Rye, it's been about 10 years right Rye-Rye?"
Once Rian is sure JB has finished his line of questioning he picks up his Motorola XOOM Tablet from his work station and hit JB as hard as he could. It was a good reunion indeed.
