I have the BEST movie idea!
While in the midst of a grueling game of online duck duck goose, Henry looked up to see his good friend Kate running toward him, completely out of breath. Normally she did this when she had an idea that was, in her own words, ridonkulously incredible.
“Henry,” she said, stopping to pant a few times. “I have an idea; it’s ridonkulously incredible.”
“Okay, what it is?” Henry replied. He had just been tagged as the goose in his game, but he figured whatever Kate said was probably more important.
“Alright, you know how we always talked about making a movie someday? Well I just got a DXG 16MP 1080p HD Digital Video Camera and I have the best movie idea.”
“That’s awesome! What’s the idea?”
“It’s ridonkulously incredible. So there’s this guy who’s a therapist. He starts working with this little boy that claims he sees dead people all the time. They see each other a lot and stuff and then … at the end … you find out the therapist has been dead the whole time.”
“Ummm …”
“What do you think? Ridonkulously incredible, right?”
“Well, sure, but that’s already a movie.”
“Really?”
“Yeah … like, a really popular movie.”
“No way! What’s it called?”
“Are you serious? That’s the exactly plot of The Sixth Sense.”
“Oh … alright well I have another idea. This one is also ridonkulously incredible.”
“Alright …”
“So there’s this cop, right? And he just joined the force, but it turns out the entire time his superior officer is setting him up to be the fall guy for some money making scheme.”
“OK, Kate, really, are you messing with me?”
“We also get Denzel Washington to play the lead.”
“He already did that movie! It’s called Training Day!”
“Never heard of it …”
“Never heard of it? Kate, I really need to get back to my online duck duck goose. I’ve been the goose just sitting there for the past five minutes.”
“How about …”
