The car trip just got that much better.
For the most part I enjoy long car rides very much. There was one planned that was coming up in a few weeks: driving from New York to San Francisco. Yeah, this was a big one. I took off two whole weeks from work (dooming myself to something like 5 years without a single day off, sick or not) for the trip and we eagerly started accumulating supplies.

While browsing the internet, I found the Sony 9” Portable Widescreen DVD Player. I bought it right away; thinking that movies for the ride would be perfect, but then realized I didn’t have very many good DVDs to bring along.
