Our quest took us to a faraway land.
My friend’s birthday was coming up and I was setting on getting him a Black & Decker 400W Dual-Outlet Power Inverter. He had mentioned the idea of having one several times before, but lamented his inability to get one for himself. Being the good friend that I am, I decided that I was going to make his dreams come true. Well … no, not dreams, but dream. Just one dream.

I went to the edge of town in order to visit Gus’ General Store. If you wanted anything in our town, you went to see Gus.

“A Black & Decker 400W Dual-Outlet Power Inverter? You’re after one of those, are you?” Gus said through a mouthful of chewing tobacco. Gus really loved his chewing tobacco. “I used to have one, but those don’t come around anymore.”

“Aww, really?” I exclaimed with a significant amount of distress. Gus must have picked up on the importance of the gift because he spoke up again.

“Well, if you’re really serious, I hear they have one in Siberia. Hidden deep in a cave somewhere. If you talk to a Timur Kinayev, he should be able to point you in the right direction.”

“Wow,” I responded. “That is way too much work. I’m just going to get him a gift card or something.”
