I saw much more than I wanted.
That night, I slept easy. I’d go so far as to say I hadn’t slept like that in a long time. Sometimes you get so caught up into things that sleep is always the first to go. That night, I hardly remember closing my eyes, but I did remember my dream.

A river of fruit punch divided an encampment in two. The people to the east of the river found the fruit punch sweet and refreshing while the people to the west viewed the consumption of the river to be sacrilege. As peaceful beings, they did not engage each other in combat, but friendship between the two was never going to happen.

When I woke up, it was one of those sleeps that end with you still being tired. That kind of annoyed me.
