Hey kid, I’m a computer.
A loud crash and an explosion of bright pink light announced the arrival to Earth of the Dell Latitude D630 Laptop. It descended down into a busy market, causing everyone around to immediately start performing jumping jacks.

“Yes …” the laptop said quietly to itself. “I love jumping jacks.”

Of course, the laptop was in no position to do jumping jacks. Not only did it lack arms, but legs too. Also muscles and a nervous system, but I imagine the computer parts could make up for those.

A young child, excited to see the laptop up close, ran towards it wildly. The boy picked it up and started doing more jumping jacks.

“Hey kid, I’m a computer,” it said, trying to get the boy to stop. “You’ve got to put me down.”

The boy did and then everyone left.

This is a true story, by the way. I saw this last Tuesday.
