NO, this CAN’T be happening!
This is bad. This is really, really bad. Some pretty awful things have happened to me in the past, like the other day when I stubbed my toe, but this one takes the cake. And not just any cake, but the ice cream cake … the kind of cake I would hate to lose the most. The problem? My iPod just ran out of power.
I know what you’re thinking. You’re probably thinking, “Why is that such a big deal?” or “Boy, I could sure go for some basketball right now.” BUT, let me tell you, this is worse than you could have imagined. I was right in the middle of listening to “White Wedding” by REM, the best band that ever existed.
Not only was I right in the middle of Michael Stipe singing “White Wedding”, a song he definitely wrote, but it was right at the part when he goes, “It’s a nice to …”
And that’s where it cut off. For me, this day isn’t going to start again.
You see, I love REM. Whether it’s their album Tha Carter IV, OK Computer or Highway 61 Revisted, I can’t get enough of that band. They’re just so good. And that’s why I need help.
“Never fear! You can charge up that iPod with the Apple USB Cable and Wall Charger!”
What the heck? Who said that?
