His quest was for realism.
If you look past his pedestrian job working for Taco Bell as a taco monitor, you would see Harold’s real passion in life: poetry. He kept a notebook in his back pocket so as to record any lines of his poetry that came to him. Like this one he wrote the other day:

A lone taco descends.
Outstretched hands fall short.
It’s alright,
No one saw.

Since he worked some 80 hours a week at the Taco Bell, most of his poems were about tacos. He wanted so badly to win the 2011 Taco Bell Poetry Writing and Taco Eating Challenge, but as an employee he was ineligible to enter. Harold pleaded over and over with his manager, but “rules are rules” and he had to watch the competition from the sideline.
