Jane was at the end of her rope.
After making a downward spiral for the better part of three months, Jane had finally reached the end of her rope. It's always a difficult experience, but sometimes those moments are the exact thing someone needs to see in order to make a change. The question now was whether Jane would meet the challenge and overcome it.

“Where's the rest of the rope?” Jane said out loud to herself; she was alone.

She looked up as if coming out of a trance and panned her eyes around the room. The sink was piled up with dishes, the coffee table was covered with cigarette butts and the floor was covered with rope. There must have been at least 75 feet of rope in there.

“Wow, there must be at least 75 feet of rope in here,” she remarked.

Jane didn't remember the last time she had a shower, but if forced to guess she would put it somewhere around a month to a month and a half. She smelled and was covered in coffee grounds. Dressed only in an oversized T-Shirt decorated with chili and mustard stains, Jane walked out into her backyard. She sat down on the swing and gently rocked back and forth. A wave of nostalgia hit her and she started crying, wondering how she had gotten where she was.

A girl who had just run out of rope and was currently in a state of devastation was too much for Hugh, the amateur photographer that lived next door. When the moment was right, he hopped the fence into Jane's backyard and took a few shots of her on the swing.

“What are you doing you jerk!” Jane screamed as Hugh took more pictures.

“I'm taking pictures with my Kodak Easyshare M580 Digital Camera!” he said with glee, turning around to run back to whence he came.
