Later, and after much thought...
Edmond decided he was going to go. It took him nearly two hours to come to a conclusion and he changed his mind several times. Over and over again he listened to the cryptic message left on his machine, insisting that “what he's been looking for” is within an unknown man's possession and can be attained by meeting him near Indian Chimney Falls after midnight.

He couldn't help being nervous as he trudged through the dark woods to get to the waterfall. The sound of rushing water echoed throughout the vicinity, making it very difficult for Edmond to dial in on any given sound. He stopped upon seeing a shadowy figure standing next to a tree.

“That's far enough,” the man said.

They engaged in idle chit-chat for a few minutes. Edmond answered the man's questions and followed his prompts as best he could, but again, he was nervous. After the man was satisfied, he walked away, leaving behind a large brown box. His parting words were, “What you need is in this box.”

Slowly, Edmond approached the box. He wasn't sure what he would find inside, but tension within him grew exponentially as he drew near. In a rush of a movement, hurried by fear, he dove at the box and forcibly ripped open the flaps. Inside were the Logitech Z506 5.1 Surround Sound Speakers.
