Wait, you've never heard music before? Not even once?
Every once in a while, I'll have a rough night of drinking and I'll wake up in strange conditions. Usually this is some kind of combination between the location of my rise and the amount of clothes I'm wearing when I do. This one, however, was completely different and unlike anything I had ever experienced before. I didn't even think I drank all that much the night before, but I woke up in a strange spaceship-like room wearing black goth pants and a Miami Heat T-Shirt, my most hated sports team of all time.

Before I even have a chance to be completely terrified, the door to the room opens and a little blue man walks in. He tells me that he found me in an alleyway about to be mugged by a group of hoodlums and decided to bring me aboard his ship. He assures me that he has no intention of harming me or preventing me from returning home and gives me a giant Toblerone and a Diet Coke as a gesture of good faith, a gesture I readily accept.

“Alright, well I couldn't just leave you there, you were in a pretty bad area it seemed, so that's why I brought you here. If you would like, I can take you home now.”

Pfft, go home? Yeah right, like I was actually going to go home right away. I'd tell people about this later and it would have the most anti-climactic end. I would tell it like, “So then the alien gave me the choice to stay with him and see parts of the universe no human before me had ever seen....but I was really hungover so I just went home and slept.” Nah, don't think so.

I tell him I'll stay and we embark on a high speed journey around the universe, circling planets and galaxies I didn't even know existed. Some of the civilizations I see during the ride are much more advanced than my own. At one point he even lets me drive the ship.

“Wow, this would be so much better with music.”

“What is this....music....you speak of?”

I can not believe that he had never heard music before. I brandish my 8GB 6th Generation Touch Digital MP3/MP4 Player and put the earbuds in his ears. What to play him, though? If you met someone that never heard a single song in their life, what would you play them? I cycled through my library and found the perfect song.

“This is incredible!” he says, his eyes lighting up, “what is this?”
