How do I create an account?
Hi! Welcome to the Internet, you must be new here! Click on the link that says Register,
and then fill in your preferred user name, email address, and password. Push the
button, and we'll send you an email, you click on the link, and you're done. It's
just that simple.
When do you put up a new product for sale?
When the hands of fate overlap at the top of the Sigil of Chronos. Or as the kids
these days call it, "Midnight". Every night just before midnight, at 11:59pm eastern
time, Master Thief will carefully tear down the old deal and throw it away so he
can clear his mind. A minute later, he will put up a brand new deal for the following
day. If you're still awake, it might be worth your while to look at it right away
to make sure you get first dibs.
Who is that thief guy?
Master Thief is the official mascot of Daily Steals. He has gone straight, leaving
his life of crime behind, and bringing you a new Steal of a Deal every day.
What's the timer?
Look, we know your clock isn't set right. You probably set it a few minutes fast
to make sure you're not late for work. Or maybe you forgot to change it from Daylight
Saving Time. Either way, the timer lets you know exactly how long you have until
the current deal disappears. Essentially, it's a countdown to midnight, but if your
calculations don't match the timer, trust the timer. Master Thief is never wrong.
What if I missed the last one?
The early bird gets the worm. The Daily Steals are only available for a limited
time, in a limited quantity. He who hesitates has lost. If you missed the last one,
you missed it. Move on with your life, and try to be faster or more decisive next
time. You snooze, you lose.
Can I get emails when new products are available?
New products are available every day at midnight eastern time. We're not going to
send you an email every day at midnight, because that sounds spammy, and we don't
like spam. If you want to email yourself at midnight every day, go right ahead.
We won't stop you.
How do I know how many of something are left?
You don't. On the bright side, when there are zero left, we'll tell you that you
missed out. Otherwise, don't let the number remaining influence your choice. If
you don't want it, don't buy it. If you want it, buy it. And if you see us hinting
that only a few are left, buy it FAST.
How do I tell how many of something sold?
If you must know, you can click on Past Deals and then scroll down to see how many
of that item sold. But really, the question isn't how many other people grabbed
the Steal. The question is: Did you?
(You may end up hiding this feature, in which case use the following answer instead.)
You don't. You can tell the only really important thing: Did you get in on the Steal,
or did you miss out? If you missed out, no number of other people who got it will
change the fact that you were too late.
What are your Terms of Service?
Pretty much the same Terms of Service everyone else has. Daily Steals provides items
at discount to you, the consumer. You must be an actual person, not pretending to
be someone else, and not a robot. You agree that use of the site is at your own
risk; we only promise to deliver you the agreed upon item, nothing more. If you
follow any links and do things on other sites, we're totally not responsible. But
you probably knew that.
Do you have a privacy policy?
You give us the information we need to get you your order, and we use that information
only to get you your order. That's it. We don't sell your email address to Nigeria,
we don't sign you up for anything you didn't ask for, and we don't tell your friends
that you totally paid less for that Blackberry than you told them.
Is there an RSS feed?
Yes. Please scroll to the bottom of the page and click the orange box to subscribe
Is there a community? Forums?
What, you don't have your own friends? We have nothing against people who like to
form shopping communities and forums, but Master Thief has always believed that
Daily Steals are a solitary pursuit. Find good deal, take good deal, win, gloat
to people who were too late to get good deal. You can make friends wherever you
like; Master Thief cares only for the Steal.
Anyway, if you must talk with other humans online instead of leading a solitary
existence, you can always comment on an item.
ABOUT THE PRODUCTS
How do I buy an item?
Click on the button marked "Put It In My Bag!" This, as you might expect, puts the
item in your bag. You can bag up to three of the item before clicking "Check Out
Now" to complete your purchase.
Do I need an account to buy an item?
Yeah, we have to make sure you exist. But signing up for an account takes all of
thirty seconds if you type slowly, so we don't feel too bad about it.
How do I pay for my item?
With modern technology! We accept credit cards, Paypal, and Google Checkout. This
is how the Internet works. We do not accept checks, IOUs, or old baseball cards.
(Unless you have an original Honus Wagner in mint condition. Then we'll talk.)
What are my shipping options?
We can ship it to you via FedEx. Or we can ship it to you using Federal Express,
USPS, UPS. Or we can ship it to you with a service that rhymes with "ShmedEx". Get
the picture? Its our choice.
How fast does it ship?
We will ship out your order within 24-48-72-96 hours. As soon as we can we do not
want to hold on to it.
How can I track my order?
We'll give you a tracking number that you can use on the shipping companies site
to follow your order on its happy little journey.
Do you ship outside of the US?
There's an outside of the US? Master Thief doesn't travel much, and refuses to acknowledge
other countries. At the very least, he certainly won't ship to them; international
postage is complicated, and we already mentioned his attention span. In short: No.
How many of an item can I buy?
Three shall be the number of the items, and the number of the items shall be three.
or up to 10.
Can I combine shipping on multiple of the same item?
We can't combine it entirely, because some of these suckers are heavy, and three
in one box gets a little pricey.
What's your return policy?
Dailysteals dose not accept returns. As all sales are final. Our return policy is
to replace defective items, if buyer insists on a refund there will be a 15% restocking
fee.
What if it came totally busted?
Ah, well that's different. Nobody likes a broken toy, so you should contact the
manufacturer and see about getting a replacement. If that doesn't work, please contact
Sales with the user ID, order number and transaction ID number,
we will then get back to you within 24 - 48 hours. . Please note that in the case
of returns through us, shipping will be at your own expense.
What if I changed my mind?
You can sell it on eBay and make a profit. Or take it on a week-long cruise to reconnect
with it. It's your call.
