Sarah was looking good, and clearly she knew it. Sitting there at her desk with her long, flowing blond hair cascading over her shoulders, she seemed engrossed in her Digital Desktop Weather Station.
I decided to make a little small talk, so I strolled over and nonchalantly said, "Nice weather we're having."
"Nice is such an inaccurate word," she replied. "It's seventy-three degrees farenheit, and partly cloudy, with fifty-two percent humidity."
"Enough about the weather," I said, "Why don't we talk about us?"
"Okay," she replied, "You've given me the third degree, you're partly boring, and there's only a seventeen percent chance I'll ever talk with you other than to respond to direct questions."
I was angry. "Gee, I guess it's just your time of the month."
"Not at all," she replied. "I have a calendar and a moon phase display right here, so I know precisely what time of the month it is."
"And what time is that?"
"Time for you to get the hell away from my desk."
