There are two things I hate a lot more than most things: rain and wind.
Weather-wise, I definitely prefer it to be warm. Over and over again I've said that I'm going to move somewhere it doesn't snow, but I keep relocating myself to cities with, for the most part, the same weather patterns as the last. One of these days I'll go somewhere warmer, one of these days.
That being said, to an extent I can deal with cold weather. I can always just put on a heavier coat, gloves and a scarf...that isn't really the issue here. In ways, I don't even really mind the snow. What kills me are two things: rain and wind. They make any situation worse. If it's just cold that is less than ideal, but cold and rainy? Cold and windy? Cold and rainy and windy? Ouch, terrible stuff there. Wind is awful in the cold because it's blowing all the cold air and/or snow at you.
Wind in the summer really isn't all that much better to me either. It can be nice to sit outside on an extremely hot day and feel a cool breeze at your back, but it's not that nice. I could personally do without it if it meant I would never have to deal with strong winds again. That sentiment, getting rid of wind altogether, would definitely be met with opposition from sailing enthusiasts and wind power advocates, but whatever. I have long hair that gets blown in all directions when the wind picks up. I don't like being some guy sitting there playing around with his hair all the time, but hey, I'd like to see.
One thing I can always rest easy about is that my Jawbone 2 has noise-canceling in it. Stupid weather conditions are no match for this little Bluetooth device. So that's one hurdle tackled, we should start using technology to control the weather rather than predict it.
